Turkey

The Turks are coming of a 3-2 victory away at Sweden in the UEFA Nations League back in September. They came back from two goals down as a strike from Hakan Calhanoglu and an Emre Akbaba brace helped them secure the win.

The Crescent Stars have struggled for consistency in their recent outings having claimed just three wins in their last 10 matches. Four of those fixtures have ended in draws while they have suffered defeats in the remaining three.

Manager Mircea Lucescu has called up much of the same players that played in the UNL back in September. Calhanoglu, Cenk Tosun and Yunus Malli were all impressive in those games and will be expected to feature on Thursday.

Bosnia-Herzegovina

The Bosnians will travel to Turkey off the back of a victory over Austria in their last international fixture. Edin Dzeko's goal on 78 minutes was the difference as they secured a 1-0 victory over the in-form Austrians.

Robert Prosinecki's team have impressed in their recent fixtures as they are currently unbeaten in their last six matches. They have claimed four wins in that run while the other two matches have ended in draws.

Prosinecki has named 23 players for Thursday’s friendly and their UNL fixture against Northern Ireland four days later. Captain Dzeko is likely to start in Turkey while the likes of Miralem Pjanic and Edin Visca are expected to continue their recent good form in midfield.

Turkey vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Predictions

Turkey has no worries in finding the net and goals were scored by the team of Mircea Lucescu in all of last 5 matches. Still, they are not a team with stability at the back and conceded in each of them.

The Golden Lillies are also in good scoring form and scored in three consecutive games. Thus both teams to score in imminent in a potential tightly contested battle.
